Today brought more fun this morning with me and Scott going to Makapu'u for about two hours. When we got there, it was super cloudy and even rained a little, but after about an hour the sun came out and it was super gorgeous. The water was so awesome and super clear. The video proves it! Unfortunately, Scott went mountain bike riding this afternoon and fell and got a pretty nasty cut on his arm requiring five stitches which will now keep him out of the water for at least ten days. :( Oh well though...accidents happen! Anyways, here are some sweet pictures from today.

A view of the monster rain clouds over the beach right before we got in the water.

Scott getting ready to get into the water.

This is one of the most awesome pictures ever. Scott duck-diving through/under a wave! Super sweet.

A single rain drop hits the water...

Very clear water!

Nice of the wave breaking.

Scott's picture of a really nice wave with a kid getting a sweet ride and you can see me going through the wave as well!

Another of Scott's sweet wave pics.

One of my favorite pictures from Scott! It is like a freeze-frame and I love it!

Still another of Scott's cool shots.

Me underwater...I don't know why I'm  doing the rock 'n roll symbol on the right. My thoughts at that point was, "salt water=stinging eyes! salt water=stinging eyes!" lol.

Another cool wave picture taken by Scott. That is some random dude who was on that awesome wave and getting a sweet ride!

Last one for today....one of the best pictures of the day in our opinion!

So far my summer has been fantastic! I would like to point out that my summer started June 29 when my Chemistry class ended. In celebration of my summer beginning, I began going to the beach every day on June 26. I have continued through the month of July, so that would put me today at day thirty-five. After I go to the beach in about three hours then I'll have thirty-six days. I've never ever done this before and it is seriously alot of fun! Last week, we went to Kailua Beach every morning (about 7:30) to practice and train for junior lifeguarding championships (which were this past Saturday). And then in the afternoon (around 3pm) we went to Makapu'u. Ah, those two-a-days were soooo much fun. I've come to LOVE maks and have experienced the biggest waves that I've swam in last week (8ft). Here are a few pictures from last week's many trips to Maks when we took the camera. In other news Catherine arrives tomorrow! I cannot wait 'cuz we will have so much fun and it will be awesome. I'm also on countdown until I leave for school. 16 days and counting...Kelli comes home in 9 days, YEAH!

Scott catching a sweet wave.

Cool underwater picture.

One of the best pictures ever! Perfect sun, color, wave, and facial expression!

Nice picture of a wave breaking taken by Scott. You can see me going through the wave 'cuz I'm wearing my yellow lycra :).

Another sweet wave-breaking picture taken by  Scott.

Joshua and  me out in the water.  The sun was behind a cloud which is why the lighting sucks so bad.

Josh going through a wave.

Josh laying in the sand exhausted from all the fun in the water!

Cool picture looking up at the sun. Can you see the hang glider?

A picture of me!

Scotty chilling in the water.

Joshua chilling in the water...love the expression!

The brothers chilling in the water.

Okay prepare yourselves people...a major photo blog is coming your way. First are some pictures from this afternoon at Makapu'u. There was quite a bit of seaweed out there though! One thing I want to say is that there is no color alterations on any of the photos. I've often doen that in the past but it was just so gorgeous that I couldn't change what God gave for today!

Cool half underwater picture

Shows more of the seaweed.

This one is from under the water looking up at me. It is kind of weird but I think it has a cool effect.

Thumbs up from Scotty! (thanks for letting me use your camera bro)

Sweet picture of Scott in the shorebreak ... it has perfect colors in it!

Me bodysurfing!

Now the next set of pictures is from Jr. Lifeguarding this past Friday .. watch out - there is a ton of 'em!

Our "tent" where we dumped our stuff and got some shade.

Scott chilling in the water.

Josh chilling in the water.

Josh on the 1000 meter run from the boat ramp to the canal and back at Kailua beach.

Tirii walking on the 1000 meter run.... which made him have to do it again when the girls did their run. Lol!

Me and Josh hanging out in the water during Jet-Ski rescue time.

More hanging out in the water... gotta love Josh's expression!

Being bored and taking underwater pix...

Me hanging out in the water with the boat ramp in the background.

Jet-ski rescue operator on the left and our Jr.Guard instructor on the right!

Rescue 2 Operator Billy (which is for district 2 ... Hanauma Bay to Kualoa). He is  super awesome! And its a ton of fun to ride on the rescue sled on the back of his ski.

Kind of a cool half underwater shot.

Hey it is the end of a week in the sun...I'm entitled to weird faces ;)

Stretching and getting ready  for the girls' 1000 meter run.

More stretching!

Tirii (having to do it again 'cuz he walked on his run), Me, Gracie, Steffy, Bianca, Cori, Raihani, Abby, and Shannon(instructor) getting ready to run.

Racing to the finish!

My siblings and I with the two instructors for hte week! On fridays everyone gets the awesome yellow lycra that you see us wearing. Thanks a million to Xcel for donating those to everyone! Yeah!

Scott, Me, Shannon, and Josh.

Well thats all folks! I hoped you enjoyed them!

What is up world? I have been super busy this past week...but it has been awesome! I've been doing Jr. Lifeguards at Kalamas for the past two weeks. Tomorrow is my last day and then championships is on the 29th. We've had a blast and now I'm super tan! No joke. I hope to get some pictures up tomorrow 'cuz Scott is gonna bring his camera. It is jet-ski rescue day tomorrow and I'm stoked. Can't wait!

Also, less than two weeks until Catherine comes! Only good things are happening...until the 16th of August 'cuz thats when I have to leave for college. *tearz* I don't wanna go! I'm gonna miss everyone so much. Anyways, look for pictures getting up tomorrow!

Summer is so awesome!

I went downtown to Ala Moana via the Bus this morning to do some shopping. I went to Old Navy and got two pairs of jeans and a tank top. Then up to Rip Curl and got some board shorts. On the way down I met up (randomly) with Cody and we got to talk for a while on the bus which was lots of fun. Then I came back home and hung out for about an hour.

At about 3pm we headed off to Kalamas *best beach in the world* and swam for a while. However Mikey and I didn't escape without minor portugese man-o-war stings. But they weren't too bad..just from a tiny one so it wasn't too bad but still did sting. :(

Now I'm just chilling in front of the TV and surfing the 'net. We'll be hitting the Ice Palace tomorrow night from 7-10pm so join us!

Like the new song? It is called All I Need by Bethany Dillon and is one of my favorite worship songs.
